It is a "want-a-be". Do not buy this. The USB cable does not fit into the charger well and unless I am holding it tight it will not charge. I just got mine and it does not work. It is not made by Apple. Not very handy. Spend a little more and get a real Apple product.
Exactly as advertised. Small and light-weight. The only thing that such is the it does not come with the cable which you have to purchase seperately.

So far this "Apple" USB Power Adapter works fine, but I doubt it really is a genuine Apple product. The description of the item states that it comes in the orginal box, mine came with no box at all. The cable connector is not "Apple" and while the adapter has an apple sticker anyone can put that on a knock-off. I bought an different adapter in a bargin store that lasted through about 4 charges then broke; I hope this doesn't happen with this one too.
The item was delivered fast, efficiently, and neatly. This was a great purchase. You are recommended.
